Emily Yankowitz

Emily Yankowitz is a senior History major from Scarsdale, New York. She is a co-leader of a local Girl Scout troop, a Social Justice Co-Chair on the Undergraduate Council at St. Thomas More, and an editor for the Yale Historical Review. Emily can be found volunteering with the Yale Refugee Project and the St. Thomas More Soup Kitchen. She enjoys writing poetry and conducting historical research—particularly working with old documents. Emily is a huge fan of Alexander Hamilton and believes he is one of the most misunderstood figures and should be remembered for more than losing a duel. In her limited spare time, she loves traveling, watching movies, reading, and hanging out with friends. Emily loves meeting new people so, if you see her, come say hi!
