Pierson Tea with Christopher Phelps

An American historian at the University of Nottingham, Christopher Phelps was born near Washington, D.C., and has taught at universities in Britain, the United States, Poland, Hungary, and Canada. He is author of the intellectual biography Young Sidney Hook (1997) and Radicals in America (2015), a comprehensive history of the Left co-authored with Howard Brick. His articles have appeared in scholarly journals as well as The Financial Times, The Nation, CNN.com, Salon, and other popular outlets.
