Scott Blumenthal is a Deputy Editor on the Interactive News desk at The New York Times, where he builds and oversees the development of tools that help the newsroom experiment with new story forms and communicate with readers in new ways.  Since joining the Times in 2012, has also contributed to individual features and coverage of regular tentpole events such as elections, the Oscars, and the Olympics.
