Ahmed Nur

      I am a PhD candidate in Religious Studies with a focus on Islamic Studies. I came to New Haven from Istanbul, where I got my BA and MA degrees in history and political theory. My interests include intellectual contacts across regions and traditions, particularly regarding medical and metaphysical knowledge. 

Before Covid-19, my favorite GA activity was excursion to the Beinecke Manuscript Library followed by a dinner at a great New Haven restaurant. I am looking forward to doing it again.
