Xinyu Guan

Xinyu is a 4th year PhD candidate in French. She was born and raised in Shanghai, China, and graduated from Pierson College in 2018. Her dissertation examines the representation of 1930s Shanghai in modern literature and film. When she’s not indulging in her love for cinema (from anywhere and anytime), you can find Xinyu experimenting in the kitchen or planning her next solo trip. Having taught French from L1 to L3, she is always down for some multilingual banter!
