Christina Lin
Migrating north from Middletown, NJ (which is sort of but not truly in the middle of New Jersey), I graduated from Yale and Pierson College in 2011 with a B.S. in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics. I then worked for a year at the National Institutes of Health, specifically the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease in Bethesda, Maryland. I entered the Yale School of Medicine in the fall of 2012. I’m interested in infectious disease and global health; I’m currently serving as one of the Referrals Directors for the HAVEN Free Clinic, as a member of the Global Health Working Group that oversees the interdisciplinary Global Health Seminar, and as one of the leaders of the Infectious Disease Interest Group.
During undergrad, I worked as a production and design editor for The Yale Globalist, drew a weekly cartoon for the YDN, taught a creative arts class at Yale New Haven Hospital, and volunteered with Demos in addition to working in several research labs (including the Rainforest class that travels to Ecuador). I also love drawing, painting, baking, cooking, listening to random music, and traveling. I’m happy to talk about any of these interests and/or about medicine with anybody - you’ll see me at dinner, study breaks, and special Pierson events!
