Margaret Spillane

Margaret Spillane is a painter and writer who teaches performing-art and visual-art criticism in the Department of English at Yale, and writes about theater, film, painting and politics for The Nation, the Village Voice, Salon.com and other publications. Her play “All Dressed Up to go Dreaming” was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and Dublin Fringe Festivals, and she has just completed an opera libretto based on a Liam O’Flaherty short story. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America.
