Emma McDonald

I am in my first year of the Master of Arts in Religion program (Ethics concentration) at Yale Divinity School. I am particularly interested in Catholic moral theology, bioethics, and the intersections between religious ethics and literature. I graduated from Middlebury College (in Vermont) in 2016 with a B.A. in Religion, where I also studied French, German, and Spanish. I stayed at Middlebury last year to serve as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Middlebury’s Center for Community Engagement. Here at Yale I am a Writing Partner at the Yale College Writing Center, and I manage social media for Yale’s Center for Business and the Environment.

In my free time, I love baking, hiking, knitting, reading poetry, and working on my letterpress printing skills!
